That said, I find searching kinda sucks with no plugins, even with hashtags.
How are you using your #tags?
Are you embedding them inline in your notes as you type them or are you using them at the note level?
This is what I mean by inline:
Asked #SomePerson why the chicken crossed the road.

When I first started using Obsidian, I really struggled with how to put it all together into something useable.
I ended up writing my thoughts down on what I wanted to accomplish and how I wanted to use it...basically describing my use case.

What is my use case?
- I participate in meetings every day, in these meetings I need to either present or take in, a wide variety of information and data. I need the ability to act on, archive (get out of the way), and retrieve that information. I need to be able to easily associate my to-do list items with appropriate, related information to maximize my productivity. I need to keep track of a variety of ongoing projects that are in various stages of completion and vary in priority.
- I have situations that come up that need my attention for some short-term period of time (#ExploreIdea this concept more) and then go away. While they are active, I need to keep my vision on any associated tasks I need to perform and Next Steps, and what I am waiting on others to do.
I recognize my tendency to "over-engineer" personnel knowledge management systems and end up with a complex rigid system that doesn't match the reality of velocity and ease of use necessary to successfully implement.
- To mitigate this issue, I will design a system that has "Safety Valve" repositories where hard-to-categorize notes will be stored...A General Notes Folder.
- Must decide how many General Notes Folders there should be.
- On one hand, there is a lot of commentary around the flexibility of a system with a simple shallow folder structure
- Structure brings discipline, but is it realistic to expect to maintain that level of discipline over time?
- It should be realistic to expect this
- What level should the General Notes Folder be
- Should there be one general folder for each top-level folder (resulting in 8 general folders in my current configuration)
- Or should there be a General Notes folder where all general notes are stored?
and so forth
