I got out in March. I’m not back in until inflation is back under control. My best guess is around 25,000.

Got out in April of 2021.

The guy who said to dollar cost average over the next 6 months had the best advice. I'd try to do that, but starting now, and if there is a ridiculous capitulation event, accelerate the timeline. Put in 125k tomorrow, and plan to do that on the 15th of each month unless prices just tank.

I made until Sept ‘21, that first hard dip after that stupid run up spook me out. Still have a few but they’re solid dividend payers that I’ve been having forever. All the mutual fund and non divvy payers are gone and I’m trying form a plan forward. I’m same age as the op so the BS has got my oldish arse spooked. Im ready to go now but smart people won’t stop fking things up

I think JP Morgan said S&P500 at 3400 by mid-August. We are now down 20% at 3700 so I would start DCA now and complete it within the next 6 months.

Mike Wilson at Morgan Stanley has been talking 3400 also. I am listening to this dude. Looking to jump back in at 3400 on the SP500.

You’re ignorance is amazing. How you still show your face around here is baffling.

You’re right.
It takes real talent to make that kind of money disappear in a bull market

I’ve maintained my DCA investments, but had already planned to increase the DCA by 10% in August (that date has nothing to do with a technical indicator - life change event in play).
As far as trades, I’m still being careful on the risk mitigation side with respect to options. With the extreme volatility, greater than one standard deviation moves seem a bit too commonplace for my taste. A short 5 delta trade can turn into a 30 delta pretty darn quick these days.
