Once you get to about 5 years till retirement you start moving it from stocks to more stable/less violative investments

Then don't invest a 401K and rely on someone to invest for you when you take all the risk and they take none.

I have 10 years to retirement, but we saw this train wreck coming months ago.

I lost a lot when covid 1st hit and had it all back by the end of the year. That might not happen this time but I'm still not selling. I have another 20 - 30 years to be in the market, at least at some level.
