Corporate loyalty died and so did employee loyalty. It is rare to find companies that are good places to be for years on end.
Bingo. These companies dont give a shite about me, why should I give a shite about them? I find a better opportunity, I take it.

That is what I always tell younger staff, the firm doesn’t give a shite about you and if need be would cut your arse to save a budget. So always be selling yourself building relationships and if the offer is right take it.

I’ve been at 4 firms and each time I left I’ve gained money and responbilities. It’s also notched my resume having some of things I’ve done.

If you are doing a good job for yourself you understand the market and when to leave vs when to stay.

It’s an employee driven market currently and even with a recession looming I think it stays that way thanks to loss of labor during covid.
