Holy shite I didn’t even read the rest of your post and now see that your biggest question is about development? After one year?
If you're not developing, you're losing. Who plays college sports and doesn't develop in a years time? These days that will get you a lost scholarship and the transfer portal.

Chalk line installation crew C+, I saw I think 3 games that the chalk spreader piled up a couple times down the 1st and 3rd baselines. The worst was the second home series where the 1st baseline had a zig where I thought it should’ve been zagged.

Okay hot shot. Tell me what you grade him at and explain why since my C- grade seems to blow your little mind. I think he did a good job managing the staff for the most part, and I still think he will will be successful here and I like the guy, so Im not hating on him or calling for his head. But our staff just blew a regional that we should have won, which there were some questionable moves on the mound during the last game. But besides that he did an overall good job during the season. My concern is….as y’all say “we didn’t have any starting pitchers” but we had relatively talented arms/highly recruited pitchers compared to most pitching staffs. And we also seen little progression throughout the year, and wasn’t able to develop a starter. This includes some pitchers that were good to enough to help solidify a regional win in Corvallis last year but contributed zero this year. Also includes some talented freshman arms but according to some “freshman cant develop in year one”. Go tell that to Tennessee.

Tennessee wasn’t running freshmen out in 2018 (Vitello / Anderson’s first year) like they did in this year.
Let’s let Jay and Kelly get their guys in before we start crucifying them for “not developing freshmen”.
It was Eugene. Not Corvallis.

Had 15 pitchers drafted from the University of Washington, seven In the top 15 rounds and was NCAA assistant coach of the year in 2018 while the Huskies made a run to Omaha.
Took an Arizona State team who lost 3 weekend starters and a top closer in the country to a team sub 4 ERA.
He’s done some really good things so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

Yes Eugene, my bad got mixed up with 2018 regional there. And yes I totally agree and Im still supportive of him and think/hope he is going to do big things here. Just wasn’t super impressed with a few things this year, which could definitely be due to the players and not the coach. But I was also impressed in the way he managed the staff for most of the season. Im still fir the guy.
