Everyone’s fault but the elected official who kills leases in the gulf days after he took office and openly stated that he wanted to end the oil/gas industry.

Regardless of what anyone else says, this can't be denied. I don't know if you can blame him for the entire rise but he is most definitely responsible for it overall. And still today, he's standing in the way of new leases and new production while he gets ready to go beg Saudi Arabia for oil.

The buck stops with Biden and there's absolutely no other way around it. Gas being 2x what it was last year is completely his fault.

There’s a direct as well as an indirect effect.

The direct effect was campaigning on taking down the oil industry and immediate domestic energy policies.

Indirect effects would be weak foreign policies that likely led to war, domestic policies affecting the rest of the world which circles back to affecting the US, and him just being a senile old frick who constantly does and say shite that panics the markets.

Oh you mean that thing Biden did that was overturned my a federal judge? Funny how Biden somehow is raising prices with an act that isn’t even occurring

Like when Trump sold $8 billion worth weapons to the Saudis in exchange to keep buying cheaper oil from them?

Couldn’t possibly be because there’s a global supply chain issue or that the oil companies that have a virtual monopoly on oil are using this as well as the war in Europe to jack up prices knowing full well they will get very little of the blame.

It’s not like the oil companies used that pipeline hack last year as an excuse to jack up prices and never brought them down despite the pipeline being fixed. We definitely didn’t see other corporations get caught red handed artificially raising prices of items not affected by the supply chain. And we certainly having seen those in the gas industry admit that they more then enough leases to pump more oil
