Here is the point that I tried to make and was called a dumbass, I’m worried going forward. This was a talented team, lack of pitching or not. He could have addressed that, but he didn’t. If he though he did then that’s a different situation, and I question some of his thinking. Hate acting like he has no blame in this. So we can agree to disagree and I hope I’m wrong in the future.

I made a thread earlier asking when we should be concerned with Jason Kelly as a pitching coach. I think it's a fair question.
I refuse to believe that we didn't have enough talented arms on this team to find at least 2 consistent weekend rotation guys. I'm not even asking for a dominant friday night guy. Just two guys that could consistently give you quality starts.
ETA: Certainly it's too early to really know, but there are some red flags.

Dude ultimately he is the head coach and no matter what he inherited, the blame falls on him. I think there are reasons to be optimistic but you’re right that the results speak for themselves. I’m going to give him longer before I say he’s not the answer but that doesn’t mean everyone should think like me. It’s good that we have these discussions and these standards within our baseball fans.
