Quite the opposite. While they need to convert guys like Graham and Temple into more useful players...
The Pelicans are going to be approaching a huge salary crunch shortly and will be on the verge of the luxury tax ever year.
Hitting on young draft talent that cost controlled for a number of years is essential.

Still begs the question of what vets we would be able to bring in and if they are the right fit.
OKC was mentioned above. One guy who is available roughly matches Graham’s contract but it is Favors. That didn’t work out well last time around.
They also have Keinrich on a non-guaranteed deal and he is someone I wouldn’t mind having back but he isn’t really in our long term plans if he is going to get paid after this season.
