Man......I'm not sure I'd want to stay anonymous.
What's worse? Either you're:
1. Constantly having to hide the fact that your net worth increased $40mil overnight.
Or
2. You're rich, and you spend at least an hour a day telling people to frick off when they ask for money.
I think I might have to get used to telling people to frick off.

Best case scenario? Pretend you don’t have the money yet have it to pay for long term debt (house, car, etc) and potential long term spending (kids’ schooling, etc).
Simply not having certain notes coming out of your account monthly makes your discretionary income go up greatly and gives you the ability to live like you want as long as you don’t get showy.
Buying a kid a beater as a first car? Can be hidden while doing this.
Buying the kid a brand new car? Less so.
Having to tell people to frick off would make me more of a hermit than I already am. I’d move to the country with signage reading “Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again” and probably ramp up how much I get online or via trip into town vs going local for whatever.

The worst part would be everybody you ever knew trying to extort money out of you by making up allegations.
