Greenworks 60V push mower

Ordered Saturday - arrived this morning. I took advantage of the 25% off Memorial weekend sale and saved $100
I usually trim with a push mower and use lawn tractor for 1 acre. My year old centipede sodded area covers 1/2 acre.
I did it all with the battery it comes with (60V 5.0ah).
A year ago I bought Greenworks 60V blower and string trimmer each with a 4.0ah battery that work in this mower if needed.
This mower has far exceeded expectation. Right out of the well packaged box it was a snap to assemble. Solid steel deck. Quiet. Beautiful cut (comes with spare blade). Very easy to push (can't stand self propelled units). Easy to clean. The vertical storage position allows for access to under-deck making it simple to clean under there as well as do blade maintenance. I'll be sharpening blades frequently now.
I just wanted to throw a review out. IF you're on the fence about battery powered mowers let me push you toward them. I can assure you it won't be regretted.

that was one on my list of e-mowers I would consider.
Does it allow hosing down of the deck?

I did.
It's super easy to get the under side.
I made sure not to saturate area where batteries plug in and wiped it.
The Memorial Day sale ended. Wait until July 4th to see if they do something then...perhaps Fathers Day???

did you order from their site?
I'd also like to get one where there are power pack options for the batteries so you can use them for any type of USB devices. EGO may be the only option for that.

Yes, ordered direct from them.
They do have the USB battery but you have to downgrade to 40V. Not for me.

The huge amount of torque produced by electric motors at low RPM make the ideal for mowers, and lawn tools. I guess I am a hypocrite since I will never buy a electric car, but definitely want a electric zero turn in the future. It’s really just which is the best tool for the job. For me a electric car doesn’t work, but the mowers will.

Is it a 2531602 model# for $449 on their website?

My dad got one this spring. Might be the geeenworks but either way, that thing is sweet. Self propelled and cuts pretty well. That battery is fricking huge. Had me laughing when I first saw it.

Yes.
Last weekend it was reduced to $399 and took 25% off that! $313 with tax and fast free shipping.
Again, I'd wait till next big holiday sale.

That’s a steal.
I’ll be using it the same way. Mostly trimming in areas I don’t want the big mower to go.
I will wait. Thank you.
Do you know anything about the green works weed eater?
I’m sold on the Makita 18x2 36 volt.
But would like to share batteries with the lawn mower

Have 60v Greenworks for 1.5 yrs and just love it...also have 60v trimmer (which is great and powerful) and the packpack blower. The batteries are easy to charge and can be used for 1 hr or more.

Done deal. Thank you Bayou.
I will wait till July 4th but probably get the trimmer now

I own the 42" 60V Greenworks zero turn. It is fantastic. I have around 45k sqft of grass which it handles it just fine. The whole family loves using it. I love being able to tow the garden cart around silently and the cargo area in back has been super useful.

Playing right into the hands of the Green Marxist.

Marxists don’t cut grass.

Even the subject of grass mowing is politicized now!
