3 years is the standard contract of every UDFA. Draft picks get 4 years.

This is why players after the 4th round often rather go undrafted because they can get to bigger money quicker (they are RFAs in their 4th year and get bigger paydays with the potential to negotiate long term deals sooner). This, of course, is if the player is worth a damn.
