So I was watching old clips this morning and came across this clip of Tony between life and death
Life and death.

Brilliant scene of Tony at the crossroads wanting to enter the house, which represents the afterlife and Tony hearing his daughter calling out his name from the beyond. Then it happens. White screen for a few seconds before he is shocked back to life.
This is a stark contrast from the last scene in the series where it just cuts to black, leaving us wondering if he is dead.

I think this is a hint that yes, he is dead. There are many hints in the show that he died, especially with Bobby saying that you probably never even see it coming. This scene just may be another clue of his death.

I'm pretty sure one of the writers or creators of the show let it slip out in an interview that the final scene was indeed Tony getting killed. I don't think he meant to but it slipped out on him

I've watched the show once and read about the finale as well, but I'm very much a casual and not nearly as invested or into the show as many other folks. With that said I still can't even fathom how anyone could think that he didn't die. Like we have mountains of evidence that he did, yet the only evidence that he didn't is "well it wasn't shown".

The last 4 episodes (Kennedy & Heidi thru Made in America) of the final season is one holy shite moment after another. I know at the time people were disappointed but I think the final season is as strong of a final season as you can get. Basically one big victory lap for the show.

Also another interesting theory I have heard is that Tony is living in the moment he was killed over and over again in his own personal hell. The way the scene with Junior and the Holsten’s scene is shot is very akin to the final scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Like David Bowman seeing his older self at a distance, Tony walk is into the front of the diner and as he is staring straight into the camera it cuts to what looks like his POV, but in actuality is Tony sitting down at the booth. Either it’s just a clever camera technique or it means something more.

Great, great show. That is a great scene as well.

I wish I could have watched and experienced it live

Does anyone ever do a rewatch on The Sopranos and as you get to the last season you start to get sad because you know it's coming to an end? I do. Fortunately, shortly after, I'll start another watch through and get happy again.

Maybe I'm fricked up, but I really do get sad during the last season knowing that it's coming to the end.

And it cut to black because without Tony there is no show.

Only good part of probably the worst episode in the series IMO. The other life storyline dragged bad.
