Those look like some expensive rifles that some poor HS failure was able to buy. Anyone know more about them?

The one on the right looks kind of like a Ruger AR-556. That one runs about $750. The other one, I don’t know.
I’m more interested in where/how he got the pistol(s). Nowhere is it legal for an 18 yo to legally purchase one. That’s federal.
