re: 6 weeks post zoysia sod. Fertilize?

Thanks guys! I should probably do the soil sample just to see where I'm at. I had a ton of topsoil brought in before doing the sod, so who knows what it looks like.

The zoysia is growing like gangbusters. Batch 1 and 3 came from Foley, AL. Batch 2 came from Donaldsonville. No comparison. Foley AL is better than Donaldsonville in every conceivable measure now including grass. It will all even out but the stuff from AL had a very thick soil and root layer. The LA stuff was like gauze and very uneven in growth length.


Thanks for the compliments. We're very fortunate to have such a great yard. Even adding the pool and tons of concrete at the house we still have a lot of yard. It's all great until you have to pay for 19 pallets of sod or hundreds of feet of fence materials.
