Just got back from the SOFIC show in Tampa. It's SOCOM's annual big industry event. Right in front of the convention center and the big talk of the show? A prop plane that is gaining big time acceptance internationally as a Close Air Support weapons platform. SOCOM and USAF are actually looking at buying some for specialty missions. You may get your wish.
