Hilliard will go on Wednesday
If anyone is crying about a day early remember that he threw Friday against Ole Miss and came back on Thursday this week so he's fine on one less day. He's not a fireballer. He'll be fine throwing Wednesday.
Pitch the first 3 games (if LSU plays 3) like it's a weekend series. Anything after that you piece together.

I agree 100%. Let starting pitching carry you to the semis if they can, and then hope the bats meet the challenge of the semis/championship games with a cobbled together pitching plan. However it goes, I trust JJ the most in this area

But I wouldn't mind if Hilliard threw against Tennessee. He had a great outing against Tennessee in game 1 of the Super Regional and that's the kind of team Hilliard can give trouble. Hilliard has his best outings against good teams that mash that he can fool.
Teams that Hilliard struggles against are shitty "4-seed" type teams that are used to guys like Hilliard in their conference and not 95 mph fastball types.
