How are we vulnerable when we are still producing hundreds of millions of acres of crops with $5 diesel and $1000/ton fertilizer?

I have family in Iowa. They are quite concerned about losing their arse.
If they can’t sell their product, then they are fricked. Prices are going to go up (a lot).
