As is the case with every one of these sorts of stories, there is more to the tale than is being told.

The best is when they send these text novels that make oweo posts look laconic, detailing every fight and grievance and little shite from years ago you’d forgotten about…and you don’t even read it and just respond

Sure, or he could just be a coward who ran away from his problems. Either way, none of us know the entire story, so its really impossible to make some kind of solid assessment of the situation.
