Pretty much Everyone back then was brutal and nasty. And if you were more peaceful, It’s only because generations back you’d managed to wipe out the other violent peoples in the area, and other tribes hadn’t come attacking you yet,

You can’t really believe that Europe in the Middle Ages was anything like this.
