I like JJ and I think he will do well here. Possibly even win the SEC or omaha at some point. That said, I think we missed out on Tony Vitello. It will take a coach like that to return LSU to the glory days. Someone with a chip on their shoulder and a little attitude to them. Regardless I like our coach and think he will do a good job. Sincerely mean that.

We’ll be just fine. Baseball is different in the south and he’s going to adjust to that. What I like about JJ is that he’s always moving, always adjusting, always trying little new things but also stays with what he believes gives him the best chances to win. He will get the right guys here to fit into this new style of baseball and when he’s got those pieces in place, he’ll win lots of games.
LSU should be stealing more bases and put more pressure on these pitchers, the coaches and the defense overall.
