They don't even want to pay money to smart/qualified people. Check out jobs in the tech/IT industry. They want you to have a CVS receipt's list of qualifications but want to low ball the hell out of you at the same time.

This is because they can turn around and tell the government that there just aren’t enough people able to do these jobs and then bring in hordes of H1B people from India to work 20 hours a day for peanuts.
