I’m perfectly ok with getting all sexual teaching out of public schools.
It’s no longer science. There’s too much opposition on both sides. It’s now political. And politics should not be present in public schools. Just get rid of it.

I’m being nit picky, but i agree we can have this conversation without slinging shite. As adults should. (to your point).
Yes. Common sense tells us that a happy medium middle ground for both sides can be easily reached. Keep religion, race, sex, identity, gender, intimacy, and politics out of classrooms. Same goes for local and federal government sponsored events and programming for children. Both sides should be able to agree to that.
Parents should have the sole right to decide what their children are exposed to when it comes to these topics. Very simple.
But we are far past that considering the Left owns Academia and the Media. Thus anyone opposed, is a bigot.
you’re certainly not wrong. if not profits, it’s power. Power via elections. Power > profits for those playing the long game.
Maybe. but if you are insinuating that me, this thread, posters on this website, or certain media outlets are exaggerating how extensive and wide spread these disgusting topics are being inserted into the lives of innocent children. I would encourage you to visit LibsofTikTok’s social media accounts and browse the dozens and dozens of videos that they are simply uploading that were created by teachers, administrators, members of the LBTQXYZ+ community demonstrating these acts or defending their “right” to teach children these things. It will open your eyes, scare you, and leave you sick to your stomach.

What I will say is, I hear a lot of people on the left say they also feel a specific religion has been forced on children for years in our country. And that people on the hard right wish it was still that way. You however feel it shouldn’t be.

Sometimes I feel like the puppet masters on both sides are pissing people off for their own doing. Or maybe someone out there profits off of general conflict in the country.

This subject especially, it just feels like there’s so much misinformation and lack of true understanding out there.

I understand. I’m not saying it’s non existent. I believe there is extremism on both sides. And I may just take your word on those videos.
My big thing is, I hate when attacks on extremism become extremism itself. The lines can get blurred.
But everything you’ve told me is reasonable and I pretty much agree.
Not that you don’t believe this, but I just encourage everyone to remember that not every person who identifies as gay, bisexual, or even a different sex than they’re labeled with at birth believes in all of these things. I personally know many people in the LGBT community who do not agree with teaching children about these things. Especially in public schools. Just remember that. Grouping people together is how you get extremism.

The cult of progressivism has used this word until it has no goddamned meaning.
Theyre' doing a number on you.

They're blithering idiots.

I apologize if that word offends you.
Whatever you want to call it, just remember to not group everyone together.

i don’t disagree. And if i had to guess many within the LBTQ community feel like their community is being hijacked by those with far more progressive beliefs and is being used a mode of transportation for darker motives. There is plenty of evidence of LBTQ members standing against some of the newer disgusting narratives.
Same goes for old school liberals and women’s rights activists back in the day. They probably find themselves alienated further because they don’t believe in the newer progressive extremes but are, as you said, lumped in automatically.
But i would encourage them to vote not based along historical party lines but on a more granular level based on policies that are common sense and best for all American’s not the outspoken 1%

It doesn't. It speaks more about you.
People who are incapable of helping themselves see everyone else as extremist.

Do you fit the description of what I labeled as an “extremist”?
Do you just want to hold on to a word and end all communication opportunities because of that word? Do you even care about effective communication?
It’s ok if you don’t. I understand that these subjects are sensitive. Just know not everyone wants to fight with you.

Which is exactly why Democrats call everyone racist or extremist.
To stop communications immediately.

quote:I agree 100%. And i will say that I run into these types of conversations a lot on that side as well. There’s too much of this “you’re either with us or against us” attitude on extrem…..sorry……the farthest parts of both sides. The lines are getting blurred. More people need to ask questions. Learn what you’re supporting. Learn what you’re against. Don’t let idiots speak for you. Call out people on both sides for their ignorance.

Hopefully one day there will be an end to all of this shite. I fear it will just continue. But it is always nice to speak to someone about this stuff who is reasonable, caring, and intelligent. Thank you for the conversation.

Only to a Democrat.
The rest of us realize extremism is rare. Its the dishonesty in its use that pisses normal people off.
I loathe a liar.

Well I appreciate your explanation of the word.
Again, I will remember that some people have those beliefs.
Hopefully you don’t want to burn me at the stake for using it.

I’m acquainted with four same sex couples. None of them agree with the public spectacle that the progressives have created around the alphabet community. They basically just want to live their lives and be left alone like the rest of us.
