My current 2007 Silverado Z71 5.3L has over 200k miles, so I need to be on the lookout for another truck.

I am in exactly the same situation. Let’s just fast forward to “trucks are too damn high right now…I think I’ll drive mine another year.”

I put my daughters 2008 Camry on Facebook Marketplace and 4 people called within 2 or 3 hours.
Sold it the very next day at "fair market value"

OP. May want to be specific what you looking for (color, trim, mileage, price point), may have some peeps looking to part with their truck or help in your search

I have a 2012 Crewmax with almost 200k on it. Rides like new. Gets 15mpg, if you baby it on the highway you can get up to 17 or 18mpg. Smooth riding, plenty of power and never have to worry about mechanical issues.

I love my 2016 Tundra but dude, if you’ve enjoyed your Chevys then dont be afraid of the newer Chevy trucks. The 5.3 is still solid. I can’t comment on the transmissions.

You won’t enjoy the Tundra mpg and it’s a rougher truck than the Chevy.

Anyway, used Tundras are crazy expensive but I guess all models are.

Probably not saving all that much buying used. Spend just a little more and buy new.

the 8 will average about 13.5 MPG...it was terrible...Loved my Toyotas, but those first few were brutal at the pump.

According to the dashboard computer mine gets 14.5-14.9 mpg. Never ever cracks 15mpg.

Try places that sell white sunglasses.

The Ford and Chevy dealerships in Farmerville have one or more on their lot. People are getting rid of those gas guzzlers.

1. Buddy has a brand new 22 with the turbo…. Less than a month old and already been in the shop.
2. I have a 2018 with the v8. 86,000 miles and some change. Crew max but not 6.5 bed. Have thought about trading it in but can’t make up my mind and couldn’t decide what I would like better if I did but for the right price I would consider it I guess.
