After your SR year you may very well get offered a 5 digit contract when you don't have the leverage of coming back another year. Sure you already made $500k in college (unlikely) but now you have to live on that smaller contract for the next 3-5 years just so you could spend a year in the SEC rather than A ball. Just sign on the larger contract your junior year or your risk losing money over the next 5 years

I was just basically basing it on equaling the bonus money and a kid's college degree to fall back on when 98 percent of the time your only gonna spend 5/6 yrs average in minor ball. I mean minimum per diem daily and basic housing is fine with me to play some more meaningless single A ball.
