Your SR year you will lose leverage
no you wont cause you already got 500k in NIL and you go play the following year in the league. What ever mlb offers is not important beings you got the money anyway and you can still go try to play for a sec title or better. If I had to choose between lsu or an A ball club and I got paid still, I'd choose a program like lsu all day if the lower draft order facilitated my decision.

After your SR year you may very well get offered a 5 digit contract when you don't have the leverage of coming back another year. Sure you already made $500k in college (unlikely) but now you have to live on that smaller contract for the next 3-5 years just so you could spend a year in the SEC rather than A ball. Just sign on the larger contract your junior year or your risk losing money over the next 5 years
