I can list several reasons why the win was a "gift":
1. The tipped ball on the third play of the game--the ball was "gifted" into the hands of the receiver.
2. On Lee's pass that was thrown to the UF player that led to the TD, that was a gift to the UF, not a steal.
3. LSU's failure to flex its muscles on the OL and DL was a gift.
4. (I hate to say this Tiger fans, but) My prayer for Tim Tebow to do well in the game was answered (I always pray for Christians to do their best--even if he is on UF's team). My prayer for LSU to win was not.
5. The statement by RJF was a gift to inspire the UF team.
So you ought to be thankful for the LSU gifts, not haughty to say that UF really did it all.
