Definitely. I friggin love Kurt’s voice. I can’t imagine torturing your vocal chords with the type of wailing he did. But fwiw Bleach was probably the album that defined my HS years for me
It’s kind of like his guitar playing. I’ve heard guitar dorks shite on it to no end but it’s was just perfect for their music

This. His vocal tone/style was perfect for Nirvana. They weren't trying to have the best vocal or guitar tone. It was supposed to be somewhat harsh, at least that's how I'd interpret it.
