Wow, how the PoliBoard turns on itself. When the US unfreezes the frozen assets of Iran, the PoliBoard propagandists rage on for years that somehow the US delivered money and assets to Iran. It was their assets that were frozen here.

Now that it happens to Putin and his circle, the PoliBoard propagandists are all in a tizzy.

Perhaps the issue is really the blatant loyalty to Russia and against US interests.

One difference is that the funds you referenced were the government of Iran's funds and not an individuals.

I am assuming the Biden administration has some mechanism to sieze assets of those connected to the regime. These aren't assets of a U.S. citizen so probably not subject to U.S. laws

It's not this, it's just dumb team politics.

Biden and leftists are waving Ukraine flags so Ukraine is bad. Putin pretends to be pro-Christian and anti-globalist so Putin is good.

They'll tell you they're not actually pro Putin, and I think that's true, but one could be forgiven for confusion when they lash out at every piece of negative Russia news and celebrate every Ukraine loss.

No, I’m simply able
to separate the Russian citizens from their corrupt government.
Are you for banning pro Russian tennis players simply because they are Russian?
Should we blame every Chinese person for the acts of their government?
