Thanks, I have seen his name on here and he goes to my old highschool. Guess I will have to check him out when I get back to the states if they are still playing ball.

Kellydown, Nick is a very gifted athlete for Many. He's extremely athletic, but very raw at tight end. He's also an all-state caliber basketball player for the Tigers. He made a good impression on the coaches at the LSU camp this past summer.

Will get to see him this Friday, last year looked very raw and played def end. looked to have a big frame in the 6' 4" to 6' 5" range arond 240 to 255 lb range. was def the biggest PAT kicker I have seen in a long time

The jury is still out on the D1 status. He is just a junior so we will see.

Yea, Palmer is the quarterback right? I also heard the tailback might make a little noise in a year or two.

Yea he's my cousin. He's 6'4" around 245. Over the past couple of years he has really developed better coordination for his frame. He is also real good in basketball so keep an eye on him on the court.

Does your cousin like LSU?

Kljacobs are you a Many grad? Also do you know who won Many or Evangel?

Yes he really wants to go to LSU. Thats his first choice. But it is kind of worrying me that they are taking so long in offering him a scholarship. Because up until the end of their season they were the only school in the running. Now UT, Michigan, etc. are looking at him. But with all that he still wants to go to LSU. And plus my aunt is not going to let him go outside of LA lol.

Very seldom does Miles offer juniors so early. For instance, Michael Ford didn't get offered officially until late January of 2008. Just tell Nick to be patient and his offer will come. LSU really likes his upside.

Yeah, a lot of times for in-state guys he likes to wait until he brings them in on junior day so he can offer them face-to-face instead of over the phone. It means that he offers in-state guys a little later than some other out of state schools, but we also offer out of state kids early like they do, it's a recruiting tactic. I wouldn't worry about him getting an offer, or about out-of-state schools offering him before LSU does. It's all part of the game.
