going for the Cubs, sox game is just lagniappe since we will still be in town.

Warwick Allerton

This will make it easy to walk over to the Chicago Red Line. Take it to Addison for Wrigley and Sox-35th for Guaranteed Rate.

Not sure how lenient you are about letting your son have a beer or two with dad before the game, but I doubt he'd get carded at Cork & Kerry or Turtle's down near Guaranteed Rate. Bit of a different story around Wrigleyville - it's a younger crowd, game or not. Most everything will be checking IDs.

Did this trip last May with my son.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on E. Wacker. Its right by the river and 1 block away from hopping on the train, while also being 1 block from Mag Mile, 2 blocks from the Bean.

I would 100% lock in a place like this that is centrally located because you can legit walk to EVERYTHING if you are located like this. If you want to run out to Wrigley the train is right there. If you want to run out to Guarenteed Rate Field, the train is right there.

Legit you can't go wrong with any of these hotels right there. Warwick has always been on my radar and I signed up for their stuff so I get emails from them still, It's a pretty historic hotel and on Mag Mile. its in a great spot, but on a certain part of Mag Mile..so I would say maybe get something closer to the River to be easier to access things.

Hoops is going to guide you through everything you need... but I'll lurk because I absolutely love this trip.

Buddy of mine who lives there now is trying to get me up for a weekend this summer..trying to navigate. That would be 3 trips to chi in a year

This was our approach as well....

Sox games are sneaky fun... Wrigley and the "setting" along with everything that surrounds it just makes it so much fun.

Hit Sluggers with your sun and let him hit some balls in the cage inside. Good times.

Whats yall plans? Like time of year yall going + length?

We did summer past 2 trips and it was quick both times. Fri-Sun (really all you need)
