To start I am a Miles supporter, but still ify on some calls. If this is the begining of a down trend towards just OK LSU football, What would it take for Miles to loss his job? Anyone

I'll bite b/c it's hypothetical anyway. 2 years of 6-6 seasons or worse. I think Miles is smart enough to know there is nothhing he can do about it now, but play with the hand that is dealt to him this year. And then he will evaluate what the deal is and make the appropriate decision.

Downward meaning 7-5 seasons 6-6 seasons. Would he be kept around like say Croom at MSU.

When I say I support Miles I mean I like most of what he does but not all. The Co-Defensive call is one that I feel could hurt us badly.

The truth. We all know Miles is not going to recruit or win quite like Saban. He's not a bad coach, but get used to living in the 10 to 20 ranking range, with the occassional 5 to 10.

IMO, that's not worth firing him. No one ever stays at the top forever. Neither Stoops, Brown or PC. UM or MR may stay there for 5 or 6 years, but that's it. Fulmer had his good 10 yrs. He is done! We have had our 8 years. Thank God we got to enjoy it that long. LA produces enough talent to stay in the top 20 if it is recruited and developed a little. It takes something special to reside in the top 5 year in and year out.

On the other hand, I think hiring a good DC would be money well spent. A good defense will go a long way to keeping the Tigers at the top.

Moo State could have been very close except for a dropped pass...

I totally agree. I just don't see why everyone is so hung up on one loss. Yes, it was a pretty good arse raping, but to say we are going on a downtrend is ridiculous. We haven't even played SC yet. I believe the coaches will make the adjustments and we will be fine. Everyone just relax!!!

I agree with this, it's crazy when people say Miles can't recruit or coach like Saban....these are the same assholes that swing from Saban's nutsack while coming on the rant to flame away about Miles being an idiot and that he will bring our program back to the dark days of Curly. It's time these people shut the frick up and take Saban's dick out their mouth.

Almost does not count. Danny McCray almost picked off a Tebow pass that would have changed the game. LSU almost lost to Auburn in 07.

Les the farthest coach on the hotseat and it is stupid say otherwise.

I wish all of these negative mother frickers would go root for someone else. You sure ain't helping with recruiting.

But again, MrWilson probably could give 2 shits about LSU anyway.
