Just my two cents…..
No one is saying it doesn't. But people are fickle. Especially 16, 17, 18 year old kids. If, for whatever reason, the promise to wear a certain uniform makes a big difference, a smart coach doesn't totally dismiss it just to prove a point. That's the case even if you or I think the uniform is terrible.

Of course I think logically speaking NIL is a much bigger deal than uni color combos but wasn’t it pretty well known that Oregon got several recruits bc “they have 184838394 uni color combos”.
I think NIL is the end all telltale, but uni color combos that are flashy can’t hurt when we’re talking about teens. Pull all the stops for elite prospects I say.
