Georgia has Cannon and several lefties. Don't let the ERA fool you. I'm not saying they have a great staff, but it could be a nightmare for us.

I feel like LSU would host if the season ended today, albeit right at the end of the 16 team pecking order. We need to go 7-5 over the last 12 to ensure it (6-6 would leave it very up in the air). With @ Vanderbilt sitting on the last weekend, we really need to win the next 3 series against Georgia, @ Alabama, and Ole Miss. Also, It would be nice if Auburn and Texas A&M would finally drop some series and get behind us in the standings since both have the head-to-head against us if they have a better/same SEC record.
8-4 could very easily get us into the top 8 seeds too. 9-3 would guarantee it. Essentially, everything is still on the table and only a few games will decide between a top 8 seed, a regional host, or traveling for a regional.

How would you equate that to fielding a ground ball and throwing to first?

With how tough the SEC is this year and how close everyone is to each other outside of Tennessee. I think 16 is going to host a regional.

Georgia 11-7 RPI (5)

Auburn 11-7 (16)
Texas A&M 10-8 RPI (21)
LSU 10-8 RPI (18)
Alabama 9-9 RPI (42)
Good news: three of those teams remain ahead on our schedule. Or that could be bad news.

Very do-able. The apples are there for the taking

False… 2 National seeds at most as Arkansas has low RPI currently

Have to go 8-4 to host
7-5 is borderline and you would have to do some damage in the SECT
