Because he’s not in state with only 1 year of eligibility (not a waste scholarship long term) and they are desperate for a TE. If they don’t use the last 2 scholarships by may 1 they are lost unless BK wants to hand out the scholarship to someone already on the team. Problem is, we need all the bodies we can get. I don’t think any walk on at this point is leaving the team on their own. Why not get another body if you can?

Depends on what else is out there this next week. If he isn’t better then our Walkon te then not necessary.

That is wrong. Player must be in the portal by May 1 in order to compete in 2022.

LSU has until August to use the remaining scholarships on transferring players.
