Who is going tonight? House of Blues. Exodus opening up. Death Angel the warm up act.

Damn sure wish I was! I haven't seen Testament in like 20 years.

Went to the show in Dallas last night. To say it rocked would be an understatement. Death Angel should legitimately headline this tour & that is nothing against the greatness that is Testament & Exodus. Death Angel is just that good.
P.S. Dave Lombardo is now the drummer for Testament.

Would love to see this. It’s in my area in a few weeks for two shows but they’re both sold out.

Show was awesome. Death Angel was very good. I wasn't familiar with their music, but thought they were better than Exodus. Testament was very good. Crowd was into the show and had a good pit going.
Only gripe is the vocals were hard to hear for Exodus and Testament. Solid show. Other gripe is the beer prices. Holy shite, 12-16$ for beer. Guess I'm getting old

Man I was in the area for work last fall when the show was originally scheduled to happen but it got postponed due to Covid.
I so would have been there.

Hetfield did you catch them at Gas Monkey Live with Sepultura and Prong opening in 2017? I was there for work and got to see that one. Awesome show.

Which makes me even more disappointed to miss this tour.

Sidenote question about Exodus. Am I the only fan who preferred Rob Dukes over Zetro? I saw video from the Albuquerque show on youtube and Zetro looks like an old man up there. Dukes had it all. Very fitting look for the band, great voice fit for the music, and a badass stage presence. I miss that guy being up there.
Blacklist live at Wacken with Rob Dukes

No it’s not your age. $12-$16 for a beer is downright fricking absurd. frick places like House Of Blues for that bullshite.

Give me Testament any day over Anthrax in the Big 4

Did Steve Di Giorgio rip a bass solo at any point?

Not really. They just jammed. Couple guitar solos. I liked Exodus with Baloff. Dukes was second. Just not into Zetro, to nasally for me. Yes he looks old and kinda cartoonish to me.
