re: Vacation - busy or lazy

I prefer a mix of beach trips and periodic big trips. 30A or the like is a 4-5 day thing for us at this point. Not much planning involved, go to the same places and with the same people. Mix in Caribbean periodically.

But for longer, planned vacations I want to travel abroad, 2-3 cities/countries, museums, city walking, tours, etc. If we're carving out a chunk of money and time for a trip, it's going to be like that, we're not going to spend that time/money going to Cabo or Cayman or something.
