Should have one of FSU’s losses to Miami on there. Either ‘87, ‘91 or ‘92. Change three heartbreaking plays in the Miami series, FSU doesn’t slip out of the gate in ‘89, and it changes things dramatically.
But FSU under Bowden had a habit of fricking up when the pressure was on. They would beat the Cowboys by three touchdowns in a bowl game, though, if the national championship wasn’t on the line.
