Plus the fact that they won a national title 3 years prior. It's also widely accepted that Oklahoma State would've been steamrolled by LSU in 2011, yet their loss at Iowa State is universally ranked higher on the pain index due to both their lack of a national title and the fact that it was a generational season for them.
