Tamarindo is a great spot. Surfing is easy and super fun. We thought everywhere else would be similar in difficulty and had our asses handed to us.

Replying to Gaston and Longhorn,

Yea I’m a solid snow skier but I have never surfed before. I really don’t have any desire to surf. The awesome part about Costa Rica it seems is that there is plenty of other activities to do that don’t involve the ocean. It’s apparently the most bio diverse planet on earth.

Regarding the prices, I feel the same way. It seems very reasonable. I definitely think if we were looking in the busy season of the year it would be much more expensive though.
I didn’t even consider the Airbnb option. Now I gotta research that.. haha
