As in an Android TV OS?
Usually you'll hear a separate device is quicker, more responsive, etc. That said, I used Android on my Sonys for a year or so before I went back to ATV and they're completely usable - much better than they used to be.
I think the reason I did so was because Apple TV+ on Android was really bad.
