Lots of locals were pissed that Jeff didn't get the NSU job following Mike McConathy's "retirement." Don't know much about Jeff's recruiting ability. Can't imagine it was ever easy to get a player to Northwestern State but he's a hell of a cool dude. Hope he does well at LSU.

Hopefully he can find some shooters from privileged backgrounds like they had up there over the years

He should have gotten the head coaching job at Northwestern. He is definitely going to do well at LSU. He is a very good recruiter, and a good coach. When he was a grad assistant at his alma mater in Missouri (NAIA) he actually recruited me to that school. He is a very good guy, and I am very happy for him. He is from Lake Arthur too, so it's always good to have people from the boot on the staff.
