Really not a good episode, but it did have a purpose. It showed that no matter what it was or how insignificant, Jesse was always trying to get Walt's approval and never could. Remember how excited he was when he killed the fly and how disappointed he was when he saw Walt was asleep.

I agree but did we need an entire episode to show Walt was obsessive and Jesse was trying to please him as a replacement father figure? That had been established already in an incremental manner in all of the previous episodes.

I would go with the Better Call Saul episodes that focused on the law firm bullshite. That was so boring and tedious. When Mike, Gus, and/or the Cartel were involved it was great. Just Saul and law firm stuff unbearable. I also wasn't fond of Slippin' Jimmy flashbacks; Mike flashbacks great though even though he got older the farther back in time you went. I did love Howard though. He was a great character and much more interesting than Chuck.
