Anyone else get that about more tickets available for purchase for the game? What is up with the ticket office this year? There was a report last week that said Florida released tickets that they reported were returned by LSU, yet many LSU fans were denied orders. Now they are saying they have extra SC tickets after people have paid brokers, etc. Seems odd.

These are upper deck endzone seats....so if they're player guest or donor tickets....we're screwing the players and donors.

Well, we flew with some guys from Michigan or Minnesota who pick 1 big game every year to attend. I asked how they got tickets and they said they called the LSU ticket office and were able to buy 3 tickets. ???

I have no reason not to believe them ... they were prepared to buy them at the game ...

They have student tickets in the uppers that they probably moved down to the lowers.

yeah, a friend of mine bought his student tickets but initially didnt have enough priority points to be in the lower but now he does. a fair amount of students sold their tickets back in the beginning of the season, so it seemns that they moved as many as they could from the upper down the lower, and are selling the remaining uppers

can't say either way, but what i can say is that it was extremely easy to find tickets to the game. I saw dozens and dozens being sold by many folks for face value.

Wrong.

I do not know where the tix came from, LSU, etc., but last Wednesday or Thursday the ticket office was selling UF-LSU tix from about 9:30 -11:30 until they sold them all.

We, UF, had a similar situation in Knoxville in that many ticket requests were denied and UT ended up with extras for sale the week of the game.

LSU didn't return any of the tickets that UF sent us. I called the ticket office to check.

The tickets were visitor alloted tickets. They said they were tickets that LSU students didn't pick up.

LSU's Associate AD Herb Vincent told me directly that LSU returned ZERO tickets to Florida.

Mr. Powdrill,

LSU did not return any tickets to Florida.

Thank you,
