Okay you got me curious . What plane types have you been on? Landing on a 739 feels a lot faster than a CRJ-900 for example, but found a site with landing speeds for different aircraft types.

140-160mph average, but they can operate higher and still be in spec. I'll agree with you that I've had some fast landing flights recently (looking at the 739s in particular) but just chalk it up to pilot and air traffic control speed preferences

Commercial airlines, whether it’s a 737 or Airbus 321 Neo. I’ve noticed this the past year or so. Some of the landings were a little violent
