I tend to agree. He was on a team with some more popular players, but he is the reason we made it to the final four. Rim protector. And look what we did the following year without him.

Yes.

His name never seems to come up when LSU greats are mentioned. He led the Tigers to a conference title with Trent Johnson as coach. That should be enough to get a nod. He was SEC POTY, and had some decent years in the NBA.
