Not nearly excited enough. It gets 10x better than the pilot. It really starts to come together towards the end of season one. And it is excellent all the way to the finale.

I am in the middle of a rewatch now. I never get tired of this show. The characters are marvelous, especially Walter of course, but all of them really.

This is exciting to hear. I've never seen one second of fringe but I remember when it came out people comparing it to LOST, which I love. Might have to give this a shot! What is the basic, big picture plot of the show without spoilers?

I love LOST as well. I am not sure which I’d consider better, LOST or Fringe. Fringe does a better job with fewer characters than LOST, and certainly a better job of answering questions and giving a cohesive overall plot.

I can’t say much without massive spoilers. The initial plot is that there are weird things happening, x-files kind of cases, but they may be all connected. I would love to say more but shouldn’t.
