For a red dot equipped 22 plinking pistols I put thousands of rounds through a year I prefer non-reciprocating frame mounted optics for various reasons. I wished Ruger would make an update to the Mark series with a grip that would accept double stack high cap mags.
The Irons look good though I might get one as a suppressor host. I have a Walther that I hate because it spits badly face when you shoot it suppressed. Wonder if the Sig will be any better.

I think the Taurus TX-22 competition model is setup like this.

Agree. I have Ruger Mark IV 22/45 w/ suppressor. Excellent.
That said, sure wish Ruger had a double stack mag.... 10 rds goes way too quick
