Will be in New Orleans for Final Four. Looking to make side trip for LSU vs Auburn Baseball on either Thursday or Friday. Looking for suggestions for tickets? parking? Local eats? etc

Eats: I mean there are a ton of good restaurants around LSU. I won’t say you can’t go wrong, because you definitely can, but as long as you use your better judgement you should be fine

Parking: there is usually first come first serve paid parking on the right field side of the stadium across the street. Otherwise there are quite a few free parking places starting about a block away.

Tickets: are you asking about like where in the stadium to sit, or how to get tickets?

Chimes is a must (right off campus), Parrains

As per usual:

If the street is named after a state or a president, do not go down it.

Otherwise, enjoy your visit!

ETA: Can't really go wrong with anything at Chimes but I'm partial to the red beans or the BBQ shrimp. Make sure you get the spinach and artichoke dip with the bowtie pasta.

shite.. now I'm starving

Chimes or Overpass Merchant are both solid options for food. Be aware that Overpass Merchant is a little farther away than Chimes

I usually will park in lots off of S Quad Dr. (Across nicholson dr. from the stadium)

Stubhub typically easiest way to find decent tickets for the games. I would look sooner rather than later

I still like to go to The Pastime before a game. But I’m a gen Xer still longing for days of old (mid 80s-98), so add that to your equation.

Chimes will have your best food and a cool atmosphere. Plus it’s right off campus

Go to the chimes. Sit on the rooftop. Order Eggs Ponchartrain. Have a local beer. Enjoy your life.

LSU in the spring is God’s gift to earth. It’s so pleasant.

Hall of Fame lot or Bull Pen lot for tailgate? Are spaces numbered? I see a major price range difference in same lot?

Don't pay for parking. Pull into the grass across the street on Nicholson and park and walk for free...

This for sure. Bring yourself a cooler full of beer and chill. Walk around a bit. Free spots just across Nicholson.

Thanks for the suggestions. Again are the parking passes general admission in a lot or numbered spaces?

Why do people order red beans from a restaurant? My wife does the same thing, and it is frustrating
