Looking to bring the fam into BR tonight, for the A&M matchup.

Is the Port Allen area safe to stay? Or should I cross the river and pick somewhere further down I-10?

Even if you don't gamble, I always try to stay L'Auberge. It's easy in, easy out to the games, and safe IMO. We have never had problems there.

Thanks! They were able to get me in, despite the website saying nothing available.

Just go further down, and stay in historic Donaldsonville

Should be plenty hotel room space along Constitution (off of College) near plenty restaurants, closer to campus, and at a good rate. Aggies are probably at Crowne Plaza. Bring some late night noise and keep them up.
