As someone who lives close to a big homeless population, it is quite difficult not to develop contempt for them bordering on hatred. 99% of them are utterly worthless druggies who will victimize anyone they think they can get away with. The other 1% are mentally ill and need to be in a hospital or the rarest of all, someone who just had an actual string of bad luck and is able to be helped. Still, you can't go around shooting people
